Narrative Report: Classroom reconstruction

October 16, 2016 sunday was the date of our classroom reconstruction and demo teaching at Danao, Jasaan, Misamis Oriental. Early in the morning around 5 o'clock I already prepare my things and at exactly 8 we arrived at Barangay San Antonio. The group agreed to hike the sloppy road to the said Daycare Center. I was barely hanging on and was exhausted because I'm not used anymore to hike that kind of road. I used to venture that road before when I was staying at my grandmother's house. After the draining walking we reach the area of which the reconstruction n will occur. The place's condition was in bad shape. Tge edifice was weak and the window area are heavily damaged due to its older state. The board that the teacher used was also damaged. As a course of action we change the windows area and we donated a new writing board to replace the old one. The facial reaction of Ms. Pabecca the the teacher of that daycare center was priceless. She was very thankful that we came and shared the blessings that God gave us. As an aspiring teacher someday that experience of ours will go down to our entire history and will never be forgotten.

Narrative Report: Demo Teaching

After the group accomplished its classroom Reconstruction we take a break and eat our lunch. Around 1 o'clock in the afternoon all groups are alternately teach the students some activities and engage them in a rigorous and invigorating enactment and story telling. The first thing that we do was to have an ice breaker. The group decide to dance the Tatlong bibi song that was very popular song not only to toddlers but also to us teenagers. The children are very attentive and was paying attention to every instruction that are given to them. After the ice breaker we then proceed to our story telling session. The kids are eager to listen to the story and was carried away by the narration of Ms. Charish Arcilla and Mr. Jayvee Oclarit. As the children listen to the story the remaining members of the group initiates an action and prepared the snacks for the students. The activity was a successful one. Each individual has done their part in making the activity enjoyable and enthusiastic. That was an experience of a lifetime and will be cherished a we part our different ways.
